Mul Mantra in an 18 beat cycle
The year long 550th birthday celebrations for Guru Nanak continue. Today I am posting a video of an hour long meditation on Guru Nanak's Mool Mantra or Mul Mantra. In this version, the Mul Mantra is sung in a 18 beat cycle. Earlier this month I published this version of the Mul Mantra in an album (Guru Nanak's Elementation Meditations) ... I have just looped the 11th track on this album to make it 1 hour long.
ੴ ਸਤਿਨਾਮੁ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ
ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ
ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ
Transliteration -
Ek Oaʼnkār saṯnām karṯā purakẖ
nirbẖa▫o nirvair akāl mūraṯ
ajūnī saibẖaʼn gur parsāḏ.
एक ओँकार सतनाम करता पुरख
निरभौ निरवैर अकाल मूरत
अजूनी सैभं गुर प्रसाद ॥
Translation
One Vibration, True Name, Ultimate Doer
Fearless, Foeless, Timeless
Constant, Self-Existent, Guru's Grace
